Evan Branosky is Senior Program Manager for Environmental Policy at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), where he leads work on “waters of the United States,” Clean Water Act permitting, and compensatory mitigation, among other issues. Before returning to NAHB, Evan served as a gubernatorial appointee at the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, where he led a statewide stormwater modernization initiative that included new erosion and sediment control and post-construction requirements and revisions to Virginia’s methodology for managing runoff from development sites. He also served as Associate Vice President of Government Affairs for the Home Builders Association of Virginia. His broader experience includes water quality, environmental markets, and conservation finance. Evan holds an MPP from the University of Maryland and a BS from Rutgers University.
