Government Affairs Committee Meeting

We have a full and exciting day scheduled for Tuesday, July 8, and I want to make sure everyone is clear on the agenda so we can stay on track and make the most of our time.

We’ll be holding candidate interviews in the conference room at our office (2401 International Park Place) beginning promptly at 9:30 AM. Each interview will last no more than 15 minutes. Here's the schedule:

• 09:30 AM – Copeland Johnson, candidate for Hoover City Council, Place 2
• 10:00 AM – Tiffany McIntyre, candidate for Homewood City Council, Ward 1
• 10:20 AM – Lashunda Scales, candidate for Mayor of Birmingham
• 10:40 AM – Randy Hettich, candidate for Mayor of Argo
• 11:00 AM – Steve McClinton, candidate for Hoover City Council, Place 7

At 11:30 AM, we will present checks to the candidates who were voted on June 25. Out of 10, 9 of the recipients will be present to accept their checks from GBAHB.

Lunch and the official Government Affairs meeting will begin at 12:40 PM. During the meeting, we’ll review and vote on the candidates who interviewed earlier in the day.
